About us

Access to quality affordable housing remains a key challenge in Kenya with the housing deficit only being met in the upper and middle upper end of the market. Lower- and middle-income families are forced to make-do with substandard housing with poor infrastructural services and poor property management services.

Miaka is an impact investment company that seeks to provide housing solutions in the lower- and middle-income housing space. We seek to provide quality housing while providing attractive returns to our investors.

Miaka also offers property and rental management services to our portfolio real estate assets.

With our business model focused on rental housing, we have established operational excellence as a core value. Emphasizing the importance of property and facility management, we deliver unparalleled service, asset management, energy efficiency and the reduction of real estate investment risk.

Our commitment to the importance of property management is exemplified by the development of a customized software program to manage building operations. This software enables us not only to manage leasing, tenant renewals and rent collections but also, expenses and resolution of maintenance issues, including any complaints raised by tenants.

The rental and property management function in Miaka is undertaken by Miaka Management Services Limited.
